New Year Break 2011
During this unforgettable Lapland adventure you will have the chance to drive a snowmobile, visit a local Reindeer herder, 
go snow shoeing and cross country skiing. Northern lights adventure into the Wilderness with a good chance of seeing the famous Aurora Borealis.
You will be staying in our own 6 bedroom guest house (Polar Nights Guest House) in the village of Kangos. The guest house is equipped with a traditional wood fired Sauna and a Spa bath to help you relax after the days adventures.
This is a very beautiful area unspoilt by tourism. You will be staying in the heart of the village. The Village of Kangos only has 320 inhabitants and is a very peaceful and relaxing place to be. 
Itinerary
Day 1.
Pick up from chosen airport and transferred back to our own guest house in Kangos.
Kitted out with Thermal outer clothing
Evening meal served
Chance to have a sauna and Hot Tub.
Day 2
Full day snowmobiling, 2 sharing a machine, going to a wilderness camp for lunch.
You will be travelling through snow covered forest, across frozen lakes.
Your guide will serve lunch at the Wilderness camp.
In the afternoon you will travel back to the guest house.
The evening meal will be served.
Use of the Sauna and Hot Tub. 
Day 3
After breakfast you will visit the local Sami Reindeer herder.
He will show you the Reindeer and tell you about his life.
Refreshments will be served
Back to the guest house
Use of the Sauna and Hot Tub.
Day 4: New Years Eve
A morning of cross country skiing.
Don’t worry if you haven’t tried before, you will be taken onto a frozen lake near the hotel and your guide will soon have you skiing around the lake.
Refreshments will be served
If you can ski you can always go onto the 3km flood light ski track around the village. (This is only for experienced cross country skiers)
Lunch will be served at the guest house.
Free time in the afternoon
Evening meal at the guest house
Northern lights trip. We will take snowmobiles out into the wilderness, hopefully to see Natures Magical show dancing above our heads. Hot refreshments will be provided. Return to celebrate the New Year at the guest house. Use of Sauna and Hot Tub.
Day 5: New Years Day
Snow shoeing adventure.
You will be taken out on a trek around the local forest and lakes, a great way to see wildlife.
Hot refreshments will be served on the way. 
Lunch will be served at the guest house
Afternoon free time. (Extra excursions can be arranged to the Moose farm or the World famous Ice Hotel Charged locally)
Evening meal at the guest house.
Use of Sauna and Hot Tub.
Day 6
After breakfast transfer back to the airport.
NB. On the cross country skiing and Snowshoeing days we some times split groups into 2, meaning 1 day half go skiing and the other half go on the Snow shoe trek.
NB. Due to the harsh weather up here sometimes we have to ch the itinerary.
